Large wide and high-length mirror

A full-length mirror is meant to see yourself in the full length, but how nice is it to choose a tall and wide mirror instead of a tall narrow or long one?
In our mirror store we offer a wide range of mirrors from 45 to 135cm wide and from 1 meter high to over 2 meters high (235cm).
Most mirror frames are available in 12 sizes and custom made mirrors are also possible.

Large rectangular mirror

Decorating your home with a large rectangular mirror has many possibilities.You can hang a rectangle mirror horizontally, but also vertically as a wall mirror.

A large rectangle mirror can also be used as a floor mirror and rested slightly diagonally against the wall: Now it is also a perfect dressing mirror!
Also as a fireplace mirror is often chosen for a rectangular model and again you can hang or place the mirror above the fireplace or mantelpiece.

Especially if the mirror is not hung but put down, you can easily move the mirror and thus constantly change your interior.

Advice hanging a mirror

At Barokspiegel.nl each mirror is delivered assembled with two or four suspension eyes, right and left. We use high quality screws and brackets that are adapted to the weight of the mirror.

1. For large and heavy mirrors always use two suspension points to distribute the weight well! 
2. Hang the mirror on the wall with two hanging points. 
3. Draw the positions of the drill holes in the wall, which you must keep exactly horizontal (level!) while doing so.

Never hang a large and heavy mirror weighing more than 15 kilos on one suspension point or on a rope!
This way the weight will not be distributed properly and there will be too much pressure on the upper screws, which can tear out due to the pressure so that the mirror, in the course of the years, can fall off the wall.

You can buy the material for the wall (hooks and plugs) yourself at the hardware store or online.
With the data of the wall and the weight of the mirror you can find the right plug and hook. We recommend the fisher brand.
